Brits walking across the USA. Can't imagine how long they could hold their breath walking past the several feed lots along this stretch of Kansas's loney highways .

detours, road closures don't deter us

the road disappeared. we were warned.

we took our detour overland/water. Saving 20 miles of backtracking into stiff winds.

storm brewing. no funnel clouds, but plenty of mean, dark ones.

we keep going

Stating the obvious ... "I'd say we are going to get wet."

sharon "enjoyed" the rain sorta under a tree, before taking refuge in a
farmer's home...at dinner time. They toweled us off. 2 inches of rain fell in about 15 minutes.
