The Accident of Birth Citizens of Wangulei, southern Sudan did nothing to deserve their plight. They were born into it. Granted, the western world is currently suffering economic hardships. But to compare our circumstance with that of southern Sudan is laughable. These relief efforts are targeted to one village community of approximately 30,000 people where we can make a significant impact with a minimal investment of encouragement and dollars. They live deep in the bush, mostly bypassed by any outside aid. They have neither the resources nor knowledge to grow food, build schools, tend to those who are sick. Only thru education can they crawl out of a very dark hole. The following pages provide specific options for your participation in helping give the people of Wangulei a much needed helping hand.
